Paul C – Summer 2023

Making only his second summer appearance and first in nine years, many expect Catterfeld senior to be over the hill. Sadly, for his rivals, the last hill he went over was Alpe d'Huez, the classic Tour de France stage in a respectable 2h 9m. Whilst this undoubtedly puts him favourite for the cycling stage of Superstars, Wikipedia reminds us it's not that impressive an achievement, being "only the 56th hardest bike climb in France".

Despite the weeks of practice, and being top golf seed, the bookies expect him to struggle in the real skill tests, pétanque, cricket, pool. Should be pleased with a podium finish.
